Definicja i opis

We have specified very few terms as required in this panel because laboratories use different approaches to reporting rarely occurring cell types and morphology findings. The terms marked as C (conditional) must be included in the panel if the count for that cell type is non zero. However, it is expected that all observed and clinically important cell types and morphology findings will be included in the manual differential count panel. The Panel provides optional ways of reporting special findings. Morphology findings can be reported as ordinals-e.g rare, few, many - via the discrete LOINC codes provided, or as simple list of the findings seen (via the morphology nominal LOINC terms)
