A questionnaire to assess obsessive compulsive disorder, an anxiety disorder characterized by intrusive obsessions that cause distress or anxiety and compulsions that alleviate the distress (American Psychiatric Association, 2000). This measure is used to screen individuals for obsessive compulsive behavior. Obsessive compulsive disorder is estimated to occur in 2 to 3% of the population, and is co-morbid with a number of other conditions including tics, depression, eating disorders, anxiety disorders and Tourette's Disorder (American Psychiatric Association, 2000)
