This measure consists of a questionnaire to determine the respondent's personal and family history of psoriasis and other autoimmune diseases, as well as current symptoms and medication use and its effectiveness. Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease of the skin. Psoriasis can also cause joint inflammation, which is known as psoriatic arthritis. Recent evidence suggests that psoriasis is associated with diabetes, hypertension, and coronary artery disease.
