The SCORE Health Check is suitable for population aged 20-78 years, This risk estimation is based on gender, age, smoking, systolic blood pressure and includes laboratory values (LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglycerides, blood glucose). The Quick Check can be performed at home and for a population 20-75 years. It is designed for use by physicians in a clinical practice and estimates total cardiovascular risk rather than risk of coronary heart disease. This SCORE model has been calibrated according to each European country's mortality statistics. Numerical scores are correlated with risk percentages.
