The expected value for this variable is the name of a section within a pathology report. For example, "Request Details", "Macroscopic Appearance", or "Diagnosis". Such a reporting strategy is less common than the traditional method of using nested OBR segments to organize sections within HL7 version 2 messages. Using the strategy with this variable, the section header OBX segment would then be followed by several OBX segments containing the results within that section.
