An attachment modifier code that indicates a request to send a document that conforms to the HL7 Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) R2.0 template. The attachment modifier codes are intended for use in the X12 messaging standard. Since the status information (STC) segment can repeat, multiple modifier codes could be sent (e.g. one for a time modifier and one for a template modifier).
