The Beck Depression Inventory Fast Screen (BDI FS) is a shorter version of the Beck Depression Inventory II (BDI II) [LOINC: 89210-9]. The BDI FS contains 7 items from the BDI II and, like the BDI II, evaluates depression symptoms in alignment with the the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fourth edition (DSM-IV) criteria for depression.
