This panel contains quantitative results for Zika virus IgM antibodies in serum or plasma as well as an overall interpretation of the IgM result based on an algorithm that considers individual quantitative results for IgG and IgM antibodies to Zika virus antigens. Although IgG is measured, the result is only used in the context of interpreting the IgM result and is not reported independently. This term was created for, but not limited in use to, the submitter's test kit, Diasorin LIAISON(R) XL Zika Capture IgM.
