The percent fraction of disialotransferrin to total transferrin standardized per the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) HPLC reference measurement procedure (RMP) for carbohydrate-deficient transferrin (CDT) in serum specimens. The upper reference limit for the IFCC-RMP for CDT is 1.7% and <2.0% cut-off value is proposed for forensic use.[PMID: 28025028]
