CD4+ count based on immunoassay method that utilizes anti-CD3 and anti-CD4 antibodies to detect CD4+ cells. This term was created for, but is not limited in use to, the submitter's Alere Pima CD4 test, which is intended for the rapid measurement of CD4+ T-helper cells and produces results in 20 minutes.
