Definicja i opis
This panel is used to report results of a vasopressin challenge, if done as part of the water deprivation test. Different protocols may call for various measurement of urine osmolality +/- serum/plasma osmolality and electrolytes at various intervals post vasopressin dose. The rise in urine osmolality after vasopressin can help differentiate between central and nephrogenic diabetes insipidus.
