The patient's genotype for the DRD2/ANKK1 Taq1A polymorphism (rs1800497, Glu713Lys, c.2137G>A) variant in the ANKK1 (Ankyrin repeat and kinase domain containing 1) gene. This variant is associated with reduced striatal D2/3 receptor binding in healthy individuals as well as depression and addiction.[PMID: 23683269]
