The patient's genotype results (e.g. G/G) for the c.-1154A>G (rs1570360) in the VEGFA gene. VEGFA variants are associated with breast cancer risk, tumor characteristics, prognosis, and altered plasma and serum levels of VEGFA.[PMID: 22993299] The GA genotype for the rs1570360 variant is also found to be a genetic protective factor for development arterial hypertension and is associated with less progressed chronic kidney disease (CKD).[PMID: 27342693]
