A diabetes risk score estimates the likelihood of developing Type 2 Diabetes and can be calculated using a combination of life-style and health factors [PMID:12610029] or analysis on serum or plasma, such as lipidomic profiling [PMID:28733174]. In order to interpret the diabetes risk score, calculation method must also be reported; LOINC:94561-8 can be used for this purpose.
