Definicja i opis
A patient's 8 year risk estimate for diabetes indicates the likelihood of developing Type 2 diabetes and can be calculated using a combination of life-style and health factors [PMID:12610029] or analysis on serum or plasma, such as lipidomic profiling [PMID:28733174]. In order to interpret the diabetes risk score, the calculation method must also be reported. Risk calculation method used [LOINC: 94561-8] can be used for this purpose.
