Definicja i opis
A risk assessment based on patient clinical data combined with biochemical steroid results to assess the probability of a malignant adrenal cortical carcinoma (ACC) or other malignancy (e.g. sarcoma, lymphoma) versus the probability of a benign mass (e.g. adenoma, myelolipoma, cyst). Clinical biomarkers may include age at diagnosis, gender, mode of discovery, hormonal status (e.g. overproduction), tumor diameter, and density of the tumor by CT.
