Definicja i opis

This panel contains results for urinary free light chains analysis by various methods, such as nephelometry or immunoturbidimetry, as well as additional immunofixation electrophoresis (IFE) (IFE) testing with interpretation. Specimens are commonly collected over 24 hours or at random (point in time, Pt). Testing is performed to aid in the monitoring of patients with urinary monoclonal proteins, including Bence-Jones proteins.
