This assay is intended to report the concentration of thyroglobulin (Tg) based on a confirmatory method, whereby the possible confounding effect of thyroglobulin antibodies (Ab) in patient serum or plasma is removed by first adsorbing Tg-specific Ab prior to performing the thyroglobulin assay.
